Nickleback has been producing some amazing music during the past few years and I am so glad that the quality of his work has only increased!

'Photograph' is a song that immortilizes our feelings when we look at pictures. They trigger many different emotions within us and most importantly, memories that we associate with those experiences. Nickleback does justice to the unique emotion of nostalgia and addiction we have all felt about our own pasts.

Like many of Nickleback's songs, 'Photograph' is bittersweet because it is closer to reality than many of us would like to admit. I like his style. He draws from within us our own perspectives about the world. In other words, he tells us with his music that it is okay to be who we each are. We all have flaws, memories, and personalities that can't be duplicated. He tells us to celebrate our individualities and our unique pasts. By doing so, we enrich the world and the people around us.

I'm happy to know that Nickleback continues this tradition in 'Photograph.' The lyrics in this song is not *his* story. It is *our* story. How we constantly strive to document our lives so they are never forgotten. Along the way, we delve into our pasts via these photographs. We remember that first kiss, we remember what happened the night after that party. Sometimes what we don't know is that our past is there for a reason. Many people become tied to their past and can't break free. Nickleback provides an outlet for that. No matter how happy or sad our history has been, we must always look forward. Acknowledge the past, but don't fret over it.

There are very few songs that I believe every person should listen to at least once. This is one of them.

This song gets a 10/10.

A good friend introduced me to this song. I'm not the type of girl who's crazy about boy bands, especially rock bands. I'd always found Nickelback tolerable, but this song made me obsessed with them.
I've moved around a lot in my life. I hate moving, and it's hard for me to let go. I have thousands of picture albums, and I love all of my friends, even those in France.
This song has amazing lyrics, and I love how it's teaching you that you have to let go.
The only thing I have against this song is that the harmony is a little off. The base, in my opinion, should be half a step lower for the bridge before the end of the song.
I love this song, though, so I don't want a bunch of angry tags claiming that I'm a Nickelback hater. It's a good song, and I know a lot of people can relate to it, me included. I give this song two thumbs up!

Let me just say to begin with that Nickelback is amazing. Their songs are full of so much emotion its just incredible. This song brings back so many memories for me. The lyrics and tune just brings the song to life and the lead singer's voice is the perfect part for the scene being set in this song.

Don't get me wrong I love nickel back and I think that their music is awesome... but photograph just didn't do it for me. At first I was sorta into it but after hearing it all the time on the radio it made me get sick of hearing. I personally love "Animals" Now that song I can't get enough of! LOL

I personally think Nickelback gets better with each song they realease...Photograph is one of the best songs they have ever released..It is sad and very emotional...And you get so into the song each and every time you hear it...You hear it once and you can remember each word..I think this is the best song ever.

"He was such an hero, to take it all away. We miss him so, That you should know, And we honor him this day. He was an hero, to take that shot, to leave us all behind. God do we wish we could take it back, And now he's on our minds. Mitchell was an hero, to leave us feeling like this, Our minds are rubber, our joints don't work, Our tears fall into abyss. He was an hero, to take that shot, In life it wasn't his task, He shouldn't have had to go that way, before a decade'd past. Now he sits there in my heart, this hero of mine, Always there to make me smile, Make me feel just fine. He had courage, that boy did, courage in his heart. To take that shot, To end his pain, To tear us all apart. But in the end, he died in courage. Lacking, nevermore, He died a hero, Mitchell did, And we'll love him forevermore. We love you like a brother. We miss you so much. We will always love you, kid. Rest In Peace Mitch. ~Lila"

i liked this song when it first came out but now i find it annoying it has been over played...and i find it hard to enjoy now...but when it first came out it was a great song and really touched me...the first time i heard it i went home and me and some friends went through and looked at pictures from the past years...and we remebered all the fun we have had and all the good times we had...and all the stupid things we did...we actually wanted a certain line from that song to be our class moto...i forget now which one it was...i can find it and tell you...hold on a sec...."I miss that town I miss the faces You can't erase You can't replace it I miss it now I can't believe it"...that was going to be our class moto...then we decided on "to much of a good thing"...but anyway...good song but over played hard to enjoy it now..happens with a lot of good songs out there

Nickelback has struck again! They consistantly put out hits and this is definately one of them.

I love the way they take you with them through their hometown and their lives. It's very cool. And you want to be there with them through all these times, because it just sounds so fun!!

The music is amazing, as usual, and the guitar is soulfully played. I love it.

I really enjoy listening to the song Photograph by Nickelback. Whenever I listen to it, I start to reference back to some of my greatest memories and the best times of my life. I think of my friends and how much time we've spent together and all of our inside jokes. I think of my family, and how it has changed of the years. How our traditions have been changed and altered, sometimes for the best. I think of friends I've lost, of things I could change and of ways to improve myself. I really think that this is a great song.

Ugh... the more I hear about this song, the more I want to vomit for how retarded it is. You're pathetic if you think that Nickelback is a great band and you're even more pathetic if you think that Photograph is a good song. This is shit. Complete and utter shit. There's nothing good about it, and it's a rather bland and mundane piece of music. I recommend this for no one, since listening to it seems to lower brain cells.

Nickelback itself can be clearly defined as a "Talentless" and an "only in it for the money" type of band. The song photograph sounds familar to many of their older songs. A person who listens thoughfully and carefully will figure out what I'm talking about. This band is not only mundane but horrible as well. The only people who would ever like this band and their music are probably Teenie Boppers and music illiterates.

Nickleback is one of those bands that you just love to see progress and grow in the music industry. Since "How You Remind Me", Nickleback have continued leading the way in the pop- rock scene.
Photograph is absolutely no exception. it is a very strongly stuctured song, which is what we have come to expect from Nickleback, it has a great, uplifting chord progression and the singign begins almost immediately, which only adds more to the impact of the song.
the words are something to be proud of to. it's one of those great songs that just says the message plain and simple, without losing any impact. to be honest though, if any lesser band had sung a song with those lyrics, it probably would have turned out just like Vitamin C's "Graduation", which only adds to Nickleback's credit as musicians.
The end of the song pulls back very nicely, leaving you satisfied and wanting 2 litsen to it over and over again (at least, that's what it did to me =OP)

WELL DONE NICKLEBACK!!!

Since Nickelback burst onto the music scene about four years ago with "How U Remind Me", I haven't heard a song of theirs that I enjoy listening to. However, when I first heard "Photograph", I fell in love with it instantly. Kroeger's room-filling voice sounds amazing in this song, and it's a welcome change from the dull and monotonous beat of "Someday". The chorus simply pleads with you to sing along with it and once you have the chorus down, you'll find yourself singing the whole tune.

The lyrics describe a past of mixed happiness and sadness, something that isn't easy to leave behind. There is a little humour thrown in, lines such as "Kim's the first girl I kissed / I was so nervous that I nearly missed" bring a smile to the face, not least because they are childhood experiences we all remember having at some point.

Overall, a great song for listening to and possibly reminiscing a few of your own childhood memories with.

I loved the song of photograph because it was like he was describing how he felt about his past and it was so inspiring because while he was remembering the past and what he had done wrong and good i was doing the same.I really liked the song and i hope they keep singing beautiful songs.

I absolutly LOVED this song. Nickelback has doen a lot of great work but this is my favorite so far. The song is about memories and looking back on how great they were. And acepting the fact that those days are over. And as u look back on those memories by looking at photos and stuff, u remember how much fun and the good times u had. So many ppl can relate to this song. Like me, I grew up in a beautiful small town in the middle of no where with all my cousins. And now, I look back on those great memories and I wish I could do all that over again. And every time I revisit I just keep remember the good times as I sit on the front porch with same ppl I grew up with as we all talk about the past. This is a wonderful song, anyone can relate to it.

Photograph is one of the saddest songs that I have ever heard. As a senior getting ready to graduate I think it envolves all the struggles of growing up and looking back at all the things that you are going to say goodbye to. I hope that it will become our graduation song because it really does describe my class and our town to a T---minus the part that says we should go back and try to graduate.....but I guess that part could relate to the times where our lives were all messed up and we were really debating whether or not to stick it out. Nickelback once again has that completely rugged harmonious sound. A truely beautiful artist. I recommend this song to anyone and everyone.
